hi guys,
as some of you may notice, we get a fair few bots and spammers signing up on the forum to spread their unwanted stuff in the forums available to the general public.

I, every so often, browse throught he memberlist and delete accounts that i believe belong to these spammers or bots.
Unfortunately, when doing this, i may delete an account that belongs to a legitimate member by accident!

Simple way to stop this is by making a legitimate post to the forum, even if it's just a quick hello and introduction.
I only ever delete accounts that aren't activated (via the validation email) or that have not posted, and of course the obvious ones that post spam on the forum.
So i'm sorry in advance if you've come back 6 months after signing up to make your first post, to find your account deleted. But in saying that, i also figure that there's no need to be a member if you aren't posting as you can browse just as much without signing up.

And just a reminder that you can always sign up as a
premium member to access the Members Only spammer-free forums.

a few tips to avoid your account being deleted.
- make a simple and relevant post, even just a hi and quick intro in the introduce yourself forum
- if you aren't ready to post yet, maybe upload an avatar or insert a forum signature
- don't sign up with your texasholdempoker.com, viagra.com, enlargeyourmanhood.com etc email address
